Meet Alison Luk

Owner, Operations and Program Director

With a background in event planning and early-childhood curriculum and program development, Alison Luk also brings retail and business management expertise to Starbright Entertainment’s leadership. She has worked as the Associate Director of Education at KidsQuest Children’s Museum in Bellevue, Washington and as a substitute teacher at Ann Arbor Public Schools. When she’s not serving as Starbright Entertainment’s Operations and Program Director, you can find her writing, dancing to live music, reading and giggling with her husband and two children.

Meet Theodore Place

Owner, Creative and Client Services Director

With a background in professional makeup, wigs, and costuming, Theodore Place has worked on productions ranging from fantastic local shows by The Encore Musical Theatre Company and Detroit Opera to a national Broadway tour. Theodore has a variety of experience teaching and working with children and families as a theatrical summer camp instructor, a substitute teacher, and a Disney College Program alum. When he’s not bringing his extensive theatre experience to Starbright Entertainment’s leadership team, you can find him writing, baking, and taking his dog on adventures.
